the room had a sleeper beautiful style. the train car restoration was very pretty. i enjoyed dinner. the room was functional too.
the staff was not suited to work in an upscale hotel. the parking arrangements were unacceptable to me. there was no valet provided.

The parking fee was AWFUL. it cost an unexpected amount. the onsite restaurant had a very limited menu. Most items were unavailable due to a wedding.

the outdoor pool was heated. it had a caboose snacks and bar area near by. it was perfect for traveling with kids and relax. the hotel room was well appointed too. it was beautiful.
i received a parking permit. i paid for this already. i then also received a $60 ticket on my vehicle. also it was very noisy all night long with people, laughing and partying.

i appreciated the heated outdoor pool , its caboose snacks, and the bar area. it felt perfect with children. the hotel and room were beautifully appointed. i found the water pressure amazing with a luxurious shower.
i did have to pay for parking in the open parking lot , which i wasn't expecting.

i visited the railroad history area , also the historical preservation projects are close by. the farm-to-table café around the corner is perfect for early breakfast. the restored train station has a great atmosphere for exploring local culture.

the king suite i booked included a huge living area and a huge bedroom , i think it was so marvelous. the half bathroom near the entrance was clean. the full bathroom has a large shower and a beautiful bathtub , a treat for anyone.

Really good service and cool setting

The service was EXCELLENT overall. I stayed in the Chalet Suite and it was a cool setting. The bathroom was large and i loved the tile.
The desk clerks when i checked in were not friendly. I didn't see even a smile. A/C was loud. And no breakfast offered at all, not even continental. It would have been nice if they offered some type of senior discount.

The hotel has a restaurant on site for convenient dining in the evening. I saw that the pool area offers seating and space for relaxation. There is a coffee bar available for purchasing coffee throughout the day.
